A great looking and fun to play sports sim with 4 events and multiplayer options to keep you entertained!
Here at Mobile Game Faqs we look forward to Mr.Goodliving games as they are usually well rounded and fun to play. Winter games is no exception.
The graphics are really nicely done and highlight the advances made in mobile technology. The intro is very slickly animated and gives a good sense of speed. The games themselves have some nice perspectives thrown in especially the bobsleigh and ski jump. The main character sprite is large and well animated with decent amounts of detail on the character and backgrounds. The backgrounds are suitably rendered and the snow actually looks like snow in some of the events. The animation is fast, especially if you manage accurate inputs when skiing. Graphically pretty impressive.
The sound is not bad but not great either. There is a main tune when you load the game up which has been well produced and is quite catchy. Unfortunately this is loud so it??s better to play with your headphones on or with the sound on silent as otherwise you??ll be waking up neighbours. There is a volume control for the sound (great idea, at last someone has put one of these in) but it didn??t seem to make too much of a difference on my phone. During the game there aren??t any effects to speak of which is a bit disappointing. If there were some skiing sounds or gunshots for the shooting, I would have felt a bit better. Needs some improvement. [We now understand that there are memory issues with the 6680 and the audio has been seriously comprised. The sound is much better on the other handsets - Thanks Wilhelm]
